Drovers Vet Hospital is a family-oriented, award-winning veterinary practice located in Wanneroo, Western Australia. With a vision to treat every pet like family and a mission to empower pet parents, they offer modern facilities, a compassionate team, and a rare accreditation for excellence. The Challenge: An Outdated Digital Foundation

Drovers came to us with a clear vision but significant obstacles. Their existing website had become a barrier rather than a bridge to their customers. The outdated platform wasn't just aesthetically behind the times, it was actively hindering their ability to nurture the strong relationships they'd built with pet owners over the years.

We also recognised that this project required a collaborative approach. The veterinary field has its own unique technical concepts and client relationships, so we made education a cornerstone of our process. We worked closely with the Drovers team, carefully explaining technical concepts and ensuring they understood every decision we were making together.

What made Drovers truly special was their prestigious accreditation status. They were one of only 8 practices out of 220 in Western Australia to achieve the Australian Small Animal Veterinary Hospital Standard of Excellence. This recognition became a cornerstone of their brand authority and differentiated them significantly in the competitive Western Australian veterinary market.

The practice also offered unique facilities that set them apart:

  • Separate dog and cat consultation rooms and wards to minimise stress for different species
  • Grief and Visitation Rooms - specially designed spaces furnished with sofas, carpet, and comfort amenities for difficult moments
  • Full in-house laboratory for faster diagnostics and reduced waiting times
  • Advanced surgical capabilities including diagnostic ultrasonography and orthopaedic surgery

The Solution: A Comprehensive Digital Transformation

Custom Webflow Development with Advanced CMS

We built Drovers a powerful new website on Webflow, featuring a custom CMS system that would become the heart of their client education strategy. The standout feature was a sophisticated knowledge base where articles could be tagged and sorted, allowing pet owners to easily find relevant, evergreen content about pet care.

Strategic Content Migration

One of our biggest challenges was migrating over 70 blog posts from their old WordPress platform to the new Webflow system. We ensured that every piece of valuable content was preserved and optimised for the new platform, maintaining the SEO value they'd built over years.

Brand Messaging Integration

We developed a comprehensive brand messaging strategy centred around their core vision: "To create a world where every pet is treated like family" with the mission of "Empowering pet parents to give the best life to their pets." This human-centred approach was woven throughout the entire website, ensuring every piece of content reflected their caring, professional approach to veterinary medicine.

The final website spanned 90-100 pages, creating a comprehensive digital presence that could serve multiple audiences—from new pet owners seeking basic information to experienced clients looking for specific care guidance.
