Project Overview

Sage wanted to spotlight their relationship with BDO to show the real-world impact of their collaboration. They needed to document this partnership in a way that felt true to their brand: professional yet human. We stepped in to produce a video spotlight that captures the success of their work together, helping Sage share this story with their wider audience.

The Search for Authenticity

Sage needed the BDO team to speak openly about their shared success. The difficulty with corporate interviews is that they can easily become rigid or overly scripted, which fails to connect with viewers. We needed to ensure the BDO representative felt at ease, allowing us to capture honest insights that would be valuable for Sage’s current and potential clients. It was essential to move past standard business lines to find the genuine moments that explain why Sage and BDO work so well together.

The Solution

We prioritised preparation to ensure the content felt natural. We scheduled time with the BDO representative before the shoot to break the ice and understand the nuances of their relationship with Sage. We asked open-ended questions that invited detailed answers rather than simple yes or no responses.

On the day, we managed the full production, from the technical setup to directing the interview, so Sage could focus on the message rather than the logistics. Post-production involved carefully selecting the best moments to create a cohesive narrative. After editing a longer video, we identified the key points and converted them into short, engaging clips for Sage to use on social media.

Sage received a suite of high-quality video assets that authentically represent their work with BDO. By managing the process from start to finish, we ensured the project ran smoothly and met every deadline.
