Bash approached us with an ambitious vision: bringing the international live-shopping phenomenon to South Africa through their digital platform. As a major fashion retailer, they recognised the massive potential of live-streaming commerce but faced a critical challenge: executing this concept flawlessly in the South African market where there was no room for error.

The project required us to orchestrate a week-long series of Instagram livestreams featuring presenters promoting specific products directly to thousands of viewers on the @bash Instagram account. With their reputation and sales targets on the line, Bash needed a partner who could deliver innovative solutions whilst eliminating any possibility of technical failures during live broadcasts.

The Challenge

We filmed all content in controlled environments at two strategic locations: the Foschini store and Bash studio at TFG Head Office. Our team directed on-screen influencers and talent through detailed scripts, ensuring they knew exactly what to say, when to pause for audience interaction, and how to handle product demonstrations effectively. We captured multiple takes and angles to guarantee professional presentation standards throughout.

Post-Production and Seamless Integration

We edited all filmed content to create polished segments that maintained the spontaneous feel of genuine livestreaming. The editing process included strategic pause points where Bash's team could engage with live comments and questions from viewers, creating authentic interaction opportunities.

Our technical team ensured smooth transitions between different products, presenters, and segments, maintaining viewer engagement throughout each streaming session.

Live Streaming Execution

During the actual broadcast times, our team managed the technical streaming process by playing back the pre-produced content over the air.
